Books, books, and more books!

Wes and Emmy just LOVE to read...Wes will sit and read book after book to his sister. It is the cutest thing in the world. Then Emmy sits and tries to read to herself...let me try and imitate her on the computer..."dat sher camsermerojalejhroeijrahaeilrlialalrila dat". SHE understands what she is saying but we seriously have NOT A CLUE!

Chena Hot Springs:)

Saturday Travis and I took the kids to Chena Hot Springs about an hour from Fairbanks. They have a great indoor heated pool that the kids LOVED! It was a blast! We went with our friends the Chons and had a great day! At first Emmy was TERRIFIED of the water...but after we calmed her down she didn't even want me to hold her...we are going to get her those arm swimmies and let her loose next time. Wes does great in the water...he is like a fish! Anyway, we had an amazing time!

Emmy's New Friend...

We had some friends who have been living in Africa stay with us this weekend. Emmy and their son, Titus had a blast together! They are 2 weeks apart and played really well together.

Emmy's Favorite Pastime!

Emmy LOVES to read books! She brings books to me all day to read to her. And, when I am busy, she will sit on the floor and read to herself...which is the funniest thing b/c she rattles on and on but no one understands a thing she says. Travis and I love to watch her get into a book...however I read it...she will imitate my voice with her jibberish...She will laugh at the pictures and she never skips a page! If you try and trick her...she always knows and gets so irritated with you. I am so glad she likes to read...she is just like her mommy!

The Big Dipper:)

During the week, me and the kids meet my mom and dad at the "BIg Dipper" to walk. It is an indoor track that walks around a hockey rink. It is really fun exercise b/c you get to watch the hockey players practice while you work out. Dad enjoys pushing the kids in the stroller. He has lost 56 pounds to date since we began the Biggest Loser in January! That is truly amazing! I am so proud of him. I have lost 8 pounds...which isn't as huge of a deal but I am still happy! I am hoping to loose more now that I am working out more. Please continue to pray! Love you guys!

Happy Easter!

We pray all of you had a wonderful Easter! We had a wonderful day! We spent the morning at church and then had lunch at a friends house. God is so good and I just praise Him for his plan from the beginning! What an awesome God we serve!

Youth Trip continues...

This past weekend we had a youth trip down in Anchorage and we had a blast! My mom kept Wes and Emmy so Travis and I were able to be Totally available to the youth! My heart was so blest to be there and get to know the kids better! They are such an awesome bunch of teenagers. God spoke to almost every single kid in the most amazing ways! The conference itself was incredible! God was so good to us this weekend and I just wanted to give Him praise!

Fun in the Snow

Our cat Miss Gilbert decided she had enough of being inside and went to play in the snow with Wes for about a half hour. Wes called her our "snow leopard". It has been very nice the last couple days with temperatures in the 20's. Just cold enough to keep everything from melting, but warm enough to not make it miserable.

Our Little Trip...

Today Travis had off so we decided to go for a drive up north. It was so beautiful! The snow is melting fast...it was definetly an interesting trip! We saw tons of carribou...close up! Hope you enjoy the pictures! It was a great day!

Mommy and Me...

Emmy has been so sweet lately. She hasn't been feeling very well these past few days but has been extremley cuddley! She NEVER cuddles...so mommy has been LOVING the extra time with her. She actually laid on the couch with me for a whole hour yesterday! Even though i love the extra "love time", i still pray she feels better soon!

My Little Man

I asked Wes yesterday to "stay my little boy forever!" He informed me that..."I just can't mommy. I'm real sorry, but Jesus wants me to grow into a big strong man!" So, I guess that is that!

Emily Grace:)

I can't say enough about this little girl! She is a miracle...and God reminds me of that everyday! We love you Emmy Grace:)

Wesley's First Sleep Over

Wes had his first sleep over tonight. Noah King, his best friend, came over and Travis let them "camp out" in the living room. They were so cute! They ate tons of snacks, played and played and played, and watched movies until they fell asleep! They truly love each other...and play so great together! God is so good to us to place friends in our lives with children who love Jesus and who are so fun to be around. Thanks Bo and David for allowing us time with your kiddo. He is so sweet...you guys are doing a great job! We really enjoyed our time with him!

Mommy's Sweet Babies
