Just another night hanging out with our new favorite people! We are all having so much fun spending time with Brett and Kim. Emmy Grace is getting lots of practice getting ready for our baby! Kim is so patient with her letting her help feed Ethan. Family time is so special!

Many Faces of Time Out!

Emmy Grace tends to find herself in time-out quite frequently. But her faces crack me up. Sometime she shows remorse but most of the time she finds ways to entertain herself until the time is up. What a girl! I just can't help but smile...

A Day at the Pool!

On Monday we took the kids to Chena Hot Springs. Brett and Kim came with us. We had a really nice time! The kids LOVE swimming! Emmy Grace was kindof nervous at the beginning but after a while, she was swimming like a fish! Wes is going to start swimming lessons this fall...but already he is doing awesome! Almost Spring!

Here in Alaska, Spring springs late! Temperatures that we consider to be Spring, others consider to be the dead of winter! For the past few days the sun has been shining, the temps as high as 30 above zero, and the snow is beginning to melt! YES! We actually saw a bit of dead grass the other day...Wes about flipped out! He knows that as soon as the snow melts, then summer is here, which means fishing and camping and hunting and our new baby! AND...warmer temps mean no more coats and gloves and hats and boots! I never thought I would have children and send them out to play with short sleeves on, in 24 degrees weather! But here I am, and that is what I do:) Hmmm...hope that doesn't make me a bad mom...oh well! Welcome Spring:) YAY!

Cousin Ethan!

Brett, Kim, and Ethan have moved to Alaska! We are all so thrilled! Ethan is such a sweetie...an amazingly wonderful baby! Emmy Grace and Wes LOVE him so much! They want to hold him and kiss on him! Ethan LOVES Wesley...he just sits and watches Wesley do everything! It truly is fun to watch cousins interact! I love having them here! YAY!

Moose in the backyard:)

A few days ago we heard Charlie barking in the backyard. We went to the door to see what was going on...and we saw our Mommy moose with her two babies hanging out beside our back gate. Charlie thought he was all big and bad, barking at the moose from the other side of the fence! Finally, the Mommy moose got tired of hearing him go on and on and charged him! That scared the dog to death! He tucked tail and whimpered all the way back to the door! That moose showed him who was boss! It was really a funny site:)
